I’m so excited to finally reveal the full cover of Caput Mundi Book 1, illustrated by @Wilhelmina.Craw. I’m completely in love with the starry, dreamy mood she created, the halo effect around Niil, and the way Enarii mirrors him with his two fingers held up in the air. It’s incredible to watch your story come to life through art. It’s really surreal!

Working with an illustrator made me realize how much thought goes into every detail. Before you start, there are so many questions to ask yourself and communicate: What should my main character wear? Should their face be fully visible? What mood or atmosphere best reflects the story? What themes or motifs do I want the cover to hint at? Every little decision makes a huge difference in setting the stage for the readers, and I’m so lucky I had someone who understood that and could translate those details into a cover that tells its own story. Honestly, I can’t stop staring at it.
What do you love most about this cover? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
